At Red Feather Ltd, we are dedicated to ensuring we meet the desires of our customers.  Ceramic tile comes in wide variety of colors and textures.  While the less expensive ceramic tile may be overlooked it can still make a striking difference in a room.  The photo below used a lower grade ceramic tile with a decorative glass tile pattern throughout.  This design helps our ceramic tile meet the needs of the customer while staying within their budget.  Ceramic tile is very durable and can be easily found.  Our customers who choose a higher end ceramic tile with a rougher finish are delighted with the stone look it provides without the cost.  Ceramic tile can be used anywhere indoors , it is not recommended for areas that are exposed to the elements.  The pictures below show ceramic tile on a bathroom and kitchen floor and a wood burning stove hearth.  

Ceramic tile for the bath floor

Our bathroom floor is best when warm and cozy however, carpet is out of the question.  Using a ceramic tile over radiant floor heating material is a popular choice, especially in colder climates.  Ceramic tile creates the cleanliness and beauty we desire.  Without radiant floor heating, a throw rug or two keep the chill away.

If you walk into any showroom or do it yourself store, you will find a huge selection of ceramic tile laid out in amazing patterns.  Be as creative as you like with ceramic tile listels, dots or stripes.  We can help with the layout if you like as well. Sometimes a pattern must be fabricated.  We have a large shop with all the tools to make your vision come to life.  

Ceramic tile for the shower walls

Ceramic tile for the shower wall works well.  We recommend using an additive in the grout to ensure our ceramic tile is well sealed.  You can also use a sealant for extra protection and apply a coat every couple of years to ensure your ceramic tile looks great for years to come.

Ceramic tile for other areas

Ceramic tile is used for many other areas where durability is key.  Below is a picture of a ceramic tile hearth.  Ceramic tile can be used for kitchen and bathroom backsplash areas,  in front of a fireplace, hallways, entryways and we recommend it for the laundry room.  We also recommend installing ceramic tile baseboards especially in areas that are prone to water damage like the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms.
